Earlier in the summer, our origins story featured on RTÉ Today with Maura & Daithí.

We were lucky enough to have Seoidín’s story told on RTÉ Today’s last show of the season. The piece, presented by the fabulous Celia Holman Lee, who has always been a great support to us at Seoidín, tells of the brand’s origins story. From humble beginnings back in 1996, right up to Seoidín's current status as a successful multi-store and online business, ours is an Irish brand with very Irish roots.

For Maureen, the brand's founder, Seoidín is and always has been a family affair. She took on the challenge of opening her very first shop, when her first born Luke was just 6 months old. Now, Luke has taken over the online side of the business, taking the reins just as the pandemic hit and ensuring that Seoidín could still trade even as the doors of their 4 country-wide stores had to close. Her second son Colm has also been inducted into the family business and Maureen hopes that the legacy can continue for years and years to come.
