What exactly is 14ct gold-filled jewellery?
With 14ct gold filled jewellery, a thick layer of 14ct gold is mechanically bonded to an inner core or base layer meaning that it won’t tarnish in the same way that gold plated jewellery often does.
Gold filled jewellery will have almost 100 times more gold than standard gold plated jewellery and it has the same qualities as solid gold but without the heavy price tag.

Can I have my order gift wrapped?
At Seoidín, we believe that presentation is everything. All of our jewellery is packaged in our beautiful dusky green presentation boxes which are hand tied with our signature grey ribbon to secure those little gems.
So, whether you are buying a gift for someone else or as a treat for yourself, you won’t be disappointed with the complete package.
How do I work out my ring size?
Ideally, you should drop in to any one of our 4 Seoidín shops so that we can correctly measure your ring size, free of charge.
If this is not possible, you can get an idea by using a piece of string or a small strip of paper. Wrap it around the base of the appropriate finger and use a pen to mark where the string or paper overlaps to form a complete ring. With a ruler, you can then measure the length of the string or paper.
We offer free Ireland & UK shipping. All our postage is carried out using An Post Express Delivery. Expected delivery time for Irish customer ranges from 1-2 days.

Once your order has been dispatched you will be emailed a tracking number, allowing you to track your package with your local postal service website.

Seoidín (pronounced show-dean) is an Irish word meaning ‘little gem’. Our designs have always been inspired by the beauty of the Irish landscape with its rich colours and patterns.
Our first shop was opened back in 1996 in the beautiful west of Ireland, in Co.Clare. Our designs and our branding have always been influenced by the unmatchable beauty of our home country and continue to do so today.
We take pride in ensuring that our little gems are as durable as they are beautiful, without them costing the earth.
We want to make sure that your moments are marked with pieces that are not only beautiful, but will also stand the test of time. That’s why we choose to use 14ct gold-fill for most of our jewellery. It is an affordable, yet great quality gold that won’t tarnish and can be worn, as we believe that all good jewellery should be worn, every day.
